'May Contain Rock' is a 4 piece Rock Covers Band based in Gillingham, Dorset playing music from the 70's onwards, including favourites like Black Sabbath, Blondie, Kings of Leon, The Cult, Greenday and Foo Fighters.

Theresa's great voice gives us a unique sound equalling the likes of Joan Jett, Debbie Harry and Pink, as well as putting a female twist on male vocals.  Drummer, Billy brings awesome energy, giving it all the rock and roll you like.......... and more!  Lead guitarist, Steve, is happy re-living his teenage punk days by being in a gigging band again and Jono has found a new love in his bass guitar, having a blast on stage showing what he can do! 

Gigging in local pubs, clubs and private parties, we can be booked for your event, pub or special occasion (see contacts page).

We love our music and enjoy playing Classic Rock, Heavy Rock, Pop Rock, Punk Rock, Indie Rock, Glam Rock - In essence, anything that May Contain Rock!

We guarantee to get you foot tapping as a bare minimum (shaking your ass on the dance floor is optional!)

Music: Most definitely Metal/ Rock. Old school: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple etc. More recent: Disturbed, Stone Sour, Slipknot, Metallica, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters etc.
Best Gigs: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Slayer, Slipknot - many a happy time spent at Donington Monsters of Rock festival, Oz fest and Big Day out!
Enjoys: Live music, motorbike festivals/meets (especially the Bulldog Bash!) and travelling.

 

  

Guitar heroes include Zakk Wilde, Randy Rhodes, Angus Young & Slash.


Music: mostly metal, 70's punk, a bit of blues and the odd bit of rap.

Best gigs:  Rammstein, Motorhead, Ozzy, ZZ Top, AC/DC, Marilyn Manson, Foo Fighters, Wildhearts, Twisted Sister, Zodiac Mindwarp, Bloodhound Gang, Kid Rock.

Enjoys live music, motorbikes, most things with engines, skiing and sunshine.
Being in a gigging band is a lifetime ambition.

  

Bass heroes/heroines include Sid Vicious, Lemmy, Vikki Spit, Susanna Hoffs & Jimmy McCoy.

Music: Old school rock, punk, ska and anything else that rocks.

Enjoys meeting mates and getting drunk with his wife Jen!  Even enjoys band practice and all the highs and lows whilst trying to make it better!

A keen gardener, with expertise in rhubarb and mint.
